With the city of LaCrosse only approximately 20 miles to the south, the small town of Galesville is close enough to a bigger city's amenities without giving up its small town feel. Even though the city itself is small, that doesn't mean that there is nothing to do here. Galesville real estate plays host to the Apple Affair, the gathering to attend in Trempealeau County. Held every October, the Apple Affair is attended by people county-wide. There are arts and crafts, food, music, antique farming equipment displays, bicycle tours and tours of the Old Main and Pine Cliff Cemeteries. Some of the historic places to visit while in Galesville include the Swinging Bridge, Old Main and Eastside Farm.
